Amazing Grace is a Polly Pocket toy

Polly Pocket is a miniature doll franchise that began in 1983 when British designer Chris Wiggs created a tiny dollhouse as a Christmas gift for his daughter, Kate, inspired by the compact size of a powder case. The concept was licensed to the UK company Bluebird Toys, which officially launched Polly Pocket in 1989, featuring small plastic dolls housed inside pocket-sized cases shaped like everyday objects such as hearts, seashells, and compacts. The toy line quickly became popular for its portability and imaginative play features. In 1998, Mattel acquired Bluebird Toys and redesigned Polly Pocket into slightly larger, more flexible dolls, expanding the brand with new themes, playsets, and animated adaptations. Over the decades, Polly Pocket has remained a nostalgic favorite, with periodic revivals that blend its classic tiny-world charm with modern storytelling and design.
