Every year, Pinocchio Day is observed on February 23. This day commemorates the 1940 release of the Disney film with the same name. Due to its familiarity as a European folk tale, Disney's “Pinocchio” went on to become a global phenomenon. It was based on Carlo Collodi's 1883 Italian novel The Adventures of Pinocchio.

Robin did propose to Starfire; however, their ceremony was thwarted by Raven, who was evil at the time. Call it cold feet, but Starfire suggested that they take a break after that. Sadly, a second marriage proposal never followed.

Starbucks Spring Cup (February 22, 2023)

The Starbucks name comes from a fictional character, Cpt. Starbuck, from the story Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Starbucks reason was to 'capture the seafaring history of coffee and Seattle's strong seaport roots. ' From this, their figure emerged as a synonymous symbol of the sea, a siren.

The liturgical colour of Lent—the six-week time of preparation for the celebration of Easter, which begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on the evening of Holy Thursday—is purple. Purple is rich in symbolism, originally associated with royalty, because it was a more expensive colour to dye, according to Fr Witczak.
