Jabba the Hutt - Lucas Film Ltd. (Kenner 1997)

The Jabba the Hutt – Lucasfilm Ltd. (Kenner, 1997) figure was part of Kenner’s Star Wars: The Power of the Force (POTF2) line, which revived classic Star Wars characters for a new generation of collectors in the late 1990s. Released under official Lucasfilm licensing, this version of Jabba emphasized his massive, slug-like form as seen in Return of the Jedi, featuring detailed sculpting, textured skin, and paint applications that captured his menacing yet iconic look. Unlike standard action figures, Jabba was produced as a larger, non–traditional figure scale, often displayed seated and sometimes paired with accessories or compatible throne environments sold separately. Today, the 1997 Kenner Jabba the Hutt is remembered as a standout piece from the POTF2 era and remains a nostalgic collectible for fans of classic Star Wars merchandise.
