Kellogg's Rice Krispies is a popular breakfast cereal made from toasted rice, first introduced in 1928 by the Kellogg's in Battle Creek. The cereal was developed by food chemist Mildred Day, who discovered that cooked rice formed crisp, puffed grains when toasted. Originally marketed as “Rice Bubbles” in some countries, Rice Krispies became famous for the “Snap! Crackle! Pop!” sound the cereal makes when milk is added, a feature that became central to its advertising in the 1930s. During World War II, production briefly paused due to rice shortages, but the cereal returned after the war and grew into one of Kellogg’s most iconic brands, later inspiring popular treats like Rice Krispies squares.
On November 4, 2014, Percy's Fast Food Restaurant Toys Collection was declared the Largest by the Guinness World Records at 10,000 unique pieces from McDonald's, Jollibee, Burger King, KFC, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr., Hardee's and other Fast Food Restaurants. This blog highlights and celebrates each individual toy's story included in the collection as all of them are now Officially Amazing!!!
