In 2020, McDonald’s partnered with Disney and Pixar to release a Happy Meal toy collection tied to the animated film Onward, and one of the figures in that set was Wilden Lightfoot, the late father of the Lightfoot brothers from the movie; this collectible was part of a nine-piece series featuring characters and magical elements from the story. Wilden Lightfoot is a supporting character in Onward—voiced by Kyle Bornheimer—who appears (at first mostly as a pair of legs) when his sons use a magical spell and Phoenix Gem to bring him back for one day, forming part of the heartwarming fantasy adventure that explores themes of family and loss.
