Sweet Herbage Perception (China) by Nikko Company (Japan): Sweet Herbage Perception is a vintage tableware pattern from Nikko Company, a historic Japanese ceramics and tableware maker founded in 1908 and known for high-quality porcelain and china production. The “Perception” line refers to a range of Perception China dinnerware pieces—plates, cups, bowls, etc.—made in Japan under the Nikko brand, and “Sweet Herbage” appears to be a specific decorative motif within that line featuring botanical or herb-inspired designs that evoke a gentle natural aesthetic. These pieces are collectible today, often found in second-hand markets and auctions, and appreciated for their classic Japanese craftsmanship and distinctive patterning on fine china.
