Lucy Van Pelt - Peanuts (Determined Productions 1990s)
Lucy Van Pelt is a well-known character from Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip, and during the 1990s, various Lucy-themed collectible items were produced under license by Determined Productions, with manufacturing commonly done in Hong Kong. These items—often including PVC figurines, small dolls, ornaments, and novelty decor—reflected Lucy’s signature bossy confidence, expressive scowl, and bold personality that made her a fan favorite alongside Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Determined Productions, a California-based company active from the 1960s through the 1990s, was known for creating officially licensed pop-culture collectibles, and their Peanuts releases from this era are recognizable for their bright colors, simple sculpting, and durable plastic materials. Today, Lucy Van Pelt pieces marked “Determined Productions” and “Hong Kong” are considered nostalgic 1990s collectibles, valued by Peanuts fans and vintage toy collectors for their connection to both classic comic-strip history and late–20th-century licensed merchandise.

Ovalteenies mascot (Philippines 1990s)

While exact dates vary in brand materials, the mascot is generally associated with the late 1990s to early 2000s, when Ovalteenies marketing shifted toward colorful animated characters to appeal to a younger audience and strengthen brand recall during TV commercials and school-oriented promotions.
Li’l Luvables Cat 14214 - Russ Berrie (1990s)
There’s very little public information about a Li’l Luvables Gray Cat resin figurine by Russ Berrie. The piece belongs to the “Li’l Luvables” (sometimes styled Li’l Luvables) line, which was designed by Kathleen Kelly under Russ Berrie’s Critter Factory brand. The figurine is made of painted resin, and its catalog number 14214 is sometimes listed alongside other small critters in the mid-1990s. According to listings, the Gray Tabby Cat version appears to have been produced around 1994, although exact production records are scarce.
Cherry Coke Thailand
The rare vintage Cherry Coke from Thailand refers to an early regional release of Coca-Cola’s cherry-flavored variant that appeared in limited quantities during the late 1980s to early 1990s, when flavored colas were still niche in many Asian markets. Unlike the U.S. version, the Thai Cherry Coke often came in distinctive bilingual packaging featuring bold red-and-pink graphics and Thai script, making it visually unique and highly collectible today. Because distribution was relatively small and the flavor did not stay long in the Thai market, surviving cans and bottles are considered scarce, sought after by soda memorabilia collectors for their retro design, regional exclusivity, and well-preserved condition.
