Jollibee began serving spaghetti in 1979 and the palabok in 1982. Fries were introduced along with the Chickenjoy in 1980. A bigger version of the fastfood's YumBurger, the Champ was launched in 1984. The fast food also serves Jolly Twirl, a soft-served ice cream launched in 1988.

Jollibee experienced rapid growth. It was able to withstand the entry of McDonald's in the Philippines in 1981 by focusing on the specific tastes of the Filipino market, which differed from the American fast food company. The first Jollibee store overseas opened in Taiwan in 1986 which is now closed.[8] Jollibee continued to expand and set up outlets both within the country and abroad.

Hetty is the Spaghetti mascot of the Philippine fast food chain Jollibee, and one of the main characters of the children's TV show Jollitown. She is a cheerleader. She is always ready to surprise and make everyone happy. Her theme color is Pink. Hetty is the twin sister of Popo Potato. Appearance Classic Hetty Hetty's classic appearance. Hetty is at a medium height with fair skin, brown eyes and long blonde spaghetti-like hair in pigtails. Originally, her hair had red spots (resembling sauce) and a blue headband. She wore overalls with puffed sleeves, white socks with pink and blue stripes on each side, and sneakers. In the 2008 redesign, she no longer has red spots on her hair, and now wears a cheerleader outfit with magenta and light pink colors.

Party Hat 2014 - JB

Matty, my godson from Leo Laparan, just celebrated his first birthday in one of the most fun place on earth to celebrate one's birthday. Too bad I have work on that day and I wasn't able to make it to the Jolly Party. I appreciate the fact that they brought some souvenirs like this party hat as mementos of the really fun birthday party that I just missed out on.
