The 2000 Hamburglar Wind-Up Toy from McDonald’s is a nostalgic little piece of mischief that perfectly captures the character’s playful spirit. Designed with a chunky, cartoonish look, Hamburglar’s striped outfit and cheeky grin make him instantly recognizable, and the wind-up feature sends him tumbling along in a way that feels both retro and fun. While the movement is simple, it adds charm and makes the toy more interactive compared to static figures. For collectors, it’s a reminder of the early 2000s Happy Meal era, when wind-up toys brought extra excitement to mealtime.
On November 4, 2014, Percy's Fast Food Restaurant Toys Collection was declared the Largest by the Guinness World Records at 10,000 unique pieces from McDonald's, Jollibee, Burger King, KFC, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr., Hardee's and other Fast Food Restaurants. This blog highlights and celebrates each individual toy's story included in the collection as all of them are now Officially Amazing!!! I will also feature my Comic Strip, Amazing Grace who I hope will be a Fast Food Toy too someday.

Amazing Grace is a Hamburgler toy from McDonald's!!! Yehey!!!
Did you know?
Hamburglar was revised in 1985, when his look changed from a trollish old man to a red-head Dennis the Menace-type child who spoke and wore a shorter-brimmed hat and a black cape with yellow on the inside. He also wore red and white shoes to go with the look, with four-fingered red gloves. His previously-unintelligible muttering was now the familiar "robble robble." In "The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald," he took on a new, sporty appearance wearing green goggles, a leather jacket, striped shirt, shorts and sneakers. He loved playing tricks on his friends and still loved burgers. The last appearances of Hamburglar on television were prime time commercials promoting the dollar menu.
