Barber's Pole Robinson Pampanga (October 2025)
The barber’s pole is a traditional symbol of the barbering profession, instantly recognizable by its spiraling red, white, and sometimes blue stripes. Its origin dates back to the Middle Ages when barbers not only cut hair but also performed minor surgical procedures such as bloodletting. The red stripe represents blood, the white symbolizes bandages, and in some countries like the United States, the blue stripe is thought to signify veins or patriotism. The pole itself recalls the staff patients gripped during these procedures to encourage blood flow. Over time, the barber’s pole evolved into a purely decorative sign, often motorized to rotate, symbolizing the long-standing artistry and history of barbering around the world.

Red M&M Robinson Pampanga (October 2025)
Red is one of the most recognizable characters from M&M’s, known for his witty, confident, and sometimes sarcastic personality. He represents the classic milk chocolate M&M and often takes the lead role in the brand’s commercials and promotions. Red, along with the other colorful candy characters, was created by Mars, Incorporated, the American company that produces M&M’s. The character was introduced in the 1990s when M&M’s began personifying their candies in animated advertisements, helping to make the brand even more iconic and beloved around the world.

Robinson Pampanga Christmas Tree and Lanterns (October 2025)
The Pampanga Christmas Lanterns, locally known as “Parol,” are iconic symbols of Filipino Christmas spirit and craftsmanship, originating from the province of Pampanga—particularly in the City of San Fernando, which is hailed as the “Christmas Capital of the Philippines.” These giant, colorful lanterns are intricately designed with lights and patterns that resemble stars, representing hope and the guiding light of the season. Each lantern is handcrafted using materials like capiz, fiberglass, or steel frames, and is often equipped with synchronized lighting systems that create dazzling light displays. The tradition is highlighted in the annual Giant Lantern Festival (Ligligan Parul), held every December, where different barangays compete to showcase their most elaborate and luminous lantern creations, attracting tourists from across the country and around the world.
