Gramma – Joyce Miller Original, released by Sears Roebuck in 1968, is a charming vintage soft-body rag doll created as part of Sears’ popular line of character dolls designed by artist Joyce Miller, who was known for her warm, hand-crafted aesthetic. The doll typically features a sweet grandmotherly look with a cloth body, yarn hair, embroidered facial details, and simple period-style clothing, reflecting Miller’s signature blend of homespun charm and friendly expression. Produced exclusively for Sears, this Gramma doll was manufactured for the retailer as part of their in-house toy offerings, making it a nostalgic collectible that represents Sears’ mid-century tradition of partnering with independent designers to create unique toys for American households.
On November 4, 2014, Percy's Fast Food Restaurant Toys Collection was declared the Largest by the Guinness World Records at 10,000 unique pieces from McDonald's, Jollibee, Burger King, KFC, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr., Hardee's and other Fast Food Restaurants. This blog highlights and celebrates each individual toy's story included in the collection as all of them are now Officially Amazing!!! I will also feature my Comic Strip, Amazing Grace who I hope will be a Fast Food Toy too someday.
