The Gloworm finger puppet released by Hasbro in 1985 was a charming miniature spin-off of the popular Gloworm plush line, designed to bring the brand’s signature gentle glow and bedtime comfort into a playful, portable form. Made of soft, squeezable plastic with a hollow interior to fit over a child’s finger, the puppet featured the familiar smiling Gloworm face and pastel-colored sleeper suit, echoing the soothing look of the original light-up toy. While it did not illuminate like the full-size Gloworm, it was marketed as a cute companion for storytelling, imaginative play, and naptime routines, becoming a fondly remembered accessory among fans of Hasbro’s mid-1980s preschool toy offerings.
