The M&M’s Red Peanut Dispenser from 1991 is a collectible candy dispenser featuring the iconic Red M&M character in his early, classic design, produced during Mars’ push to expand M&M’s merchandise in the early ’90s. Typically made of durable plastic with bright, glossy colors, the dispenser was designed to hold Peanut M&M’s, which were heavily promoted at the time, and released in various playful poses that reflected Red’s confident, slightly mischievous personality. Operating with a simple lever or push mechanism that dispensed a small handful of candy, it became a popular novelty item among both M&M’s fans and toy collectors, and today remains a nostalgic piece representing the brand’s rise in character-based marketing during the decades.
