McDonald’s “Brown Bag” French Fries refers to the recent shift in how the chain packages its iconic World Famous Fries, where some locations have started serving medium and large fries in plain brown or white paper bags instead of the classic red cardboard cartons — a change driven largely by sustainability efforts and local single-use plastics regulations aimed at reducing waste and use of PFAS materials in packaging.
