The Duracell Rabbit, also known as the Duracell Bunny, is the iconic advertising mascot of Duracell batteries, first introduced in 1973. Depicted as a pink, drum-beating toy rabbit powered by Duracell batteries, the character was created to demonstrate the brand’s key message—long-lasting power—by outlasting other battery-powered toys that eventually stop running. Over the decades, the Duracell Rabbit became one of the most recognizable mascots in advertising history, appearing in television commercials, print ads, and promotional merchandise worldwide. Its simple but effective concept helped cement Duracell’s reputation for reliability and endurance, making the Rabbit a lasting symbol of battery performance and a pop-culture icon in its own right.
