San Fernando Pampanga Cathedral (January 16, 2026)

The San Fernando Pampanga Cathedral, officially known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando and dedicated to Saint Ferdinand III of Castile, is one of the most important religious landmarks in Pampanga, Philippines. Established as a parish church in 1754, it later gained greater prominence when San Fernando became the seat of the Archdiocese of San Fernando in 1975. The cathedral features a blend of Spanish colonial and modern architectural elements, reflecting its long history and several reconstructions due to wars, earthquakes, and renovations. Located at the heart of the City of San Fernando, it serves not only as a place of worship but also as a cultural and historical symbol of Kapampangan faith, hosting major liturgical celebrations, archdiocesan events, and community gatherings throughout the year.
