The Swift Corner (Corned) Beef from Brazil is a canned beef product made from cooked and salted beef brisket, known for its chunky texture and savory flavor. It is produced by the Brazilian multinational food company JBS S.A., one of the world’s largest meat processors, and is commonly exported to many countries as a ready-to-eat or easy-to-cook protein food. The Swift brand itself traces its origins to 1855, when American entrepreneur Gustavus Franklin Swift began a meat-packing business that pioneered large-scale beef distribution. Over time the brand became internationally recognized, and in 2007 the Brazilian company JBS acquired Swift & Company, integrating the historic brand into its global meat business. Today, Swift corned beef produced in Brazil is made from quality beef cuts, carefully seasoned and sealed in cans for a long shelf life of up to two or three years, making it popular for household cooking, sandwiches, and emergency food supplies worldwide.
