The Turtwig Pokémon Ball toy released by McDonald's in 2008 was part of a promotional Happy Meal series celebrating the popularity of the Pokémon franchise during the era of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The toy featured the Grass-type starter Pokémon Turtwig, recognizable for the small sprout growing on its head and its turtle-like body. The figure was typically packaged inside a red-and-white Poké Ball–style container, which could open and close, adding a playful collectible element for fans. Many toys in the 2008 McDonald’s Pokémon set included simple interactive features such as small moving parts or display stands, making them appealing both to children enjoying Happy Meals and to collectors who appreciate Pokémon promotional merchandise from the late 2000s.
On November 4, 2014, Percy's Fast Food Restaurant Toys Collection was declared the Largest by the Guinness World Records at 10,000 unique pieces from McDonald's, Jollibee, Burger King, KFC, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr., Hardee's and other Fast Food Restaurants. This blog highlights and celebrates each individual toy's story included in the collection as all of them are now Officially Amazing!!! I will also feature my Comic Strip, Amazing Grace who I hope will be a Fast Food Toy too someday.
