Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia created by Kōhei Horikoshi. Born without a superpower—called a Quirk in the series—Midoriya dreams of becoming a professional hero like his idol, All Might. His determination and strong sense of justice eventually earn him the chance to inherit All Might’s powerful Quirk, One For All, which grants immense strength and abilities that he gradually learns to control.
