Shoto Todoroki is a major character from the popular manga and anime series My Hero Academia created by Kohei Horikoshi. Todoroki is a student at U.A. High School training to become a professional hero, and he possesses the powerful “Half-Cold Half-Hot” Quirk, which allows him to generate ice from the right side of his body and fire from the left. As the son of the top hero Endeavor, Todoroki initially struggles with family pressure and his complicated feelings toward his father, which shapes much of his early character development. Known for his calm personality, distinctive half-white and half-red hair, and a burn scar over his left eye, Todoroki grows throughout the series as he learns to accept both sides of his power and form strong friendships with classmates such as Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo.
