Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl is one of the main characters of the Disney and Pixar Toy Story franchise, making her first appearance in Toy Story 2. She is a vintage pull-string cowgirl rag-doll of the 1950s, the best buddy of Bullseye, and a former member of Woody's Roundup gang who originally belonged to Emily. At first, Jessie only intends to be a collectible and dislikes the fact that Woody has an owner, Andy, but when the cowboy and his space toy friend, Buzz Lightyear, rescue her from the plane bound for Japan, she later accepts her true purpose that is to be played with.
