Did you know?
Tic Tac Toe dates back to ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. The Romans played a version called "Terni Lapilli" around 1300 years ago! In the UK, Tic Tac Toe is traditionally called “Noughts and Crosses.” “Nought” = zero (O) and “Cross” = X. The Name “Tic Tac Toe” was popularized in the United States in the 20th century. The name may have come from an old game played on a grid using pencil marks.
