Ricoa Curly Tops (Rebisco 2025)

Republic Chocolate Incorporated, is a subsidiary of Republic Biscuit Corporation (Rebisco), which was founded in the Philippines in 1963 by Jacinto Ng Sr. Rebisco started as a small bakeshop in San Juan, Metro Manila, producing biscuits, but as the company grew, it diversified into different snack lines. To expand into chocolate and cocoa-based products, Rebisco established Ricoa, which soon became known for iconic sweets such as Curly Tops, Flat Tops, and Choco Mallows. By producing chocolates locally, Ricoa gave Filipinos affordable access to treats that were often imported at the time. Over the decades, Ricoa products became part of Filipino culture, especially as childhood favorites and pasalubong items, securing their place as nostalgic staples in the country’s confectionery industry.
