Feed the Baby Hippo, one of the fun McDigi Games released by McDonald’s in 2011, was an interactive handheld toy that brought digital-style arcade excitement into the Happy Meal box. With its simple yet addictive gameplay, kids had to skillfully time their button presses to “feed” a hungry baby hippo as it opened its mouth, turning mealtime into a playful challenge. Bright, colorful graphics and a cute hippo design made the toy instantly appealing, while its easy mechanics gave it that classic pick-up-and-play charm. For many, it was a pocket-sized burst of fun that blended McDonald’s Happy Meal magic with the thrill of old-school handheld gaming.
