eBaum's World is a long-standing entertainment website known for its collection of humorous videos, images, memes, and games. Established in 2001 by Eric Bauman and his father Neil, the site gained popularity in the early 2000s for its viral content and unique features like celebrity soundboards and "Moron Mail."
Originally based in Rochester, New York, eBaum's World was sold in 2007 to HandHeld Entertainment (later ZVUE Corporation). In 2009, Bauman and his team were dismissed, and the company relocated to San Francisco. Since 2016, eBaum's World has been owned by Literally Media, an Israeli digital media company that also manages Cheezburger, Know Your Meme, and Cracked.com.
