Luigi is a character created by Japanese video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto. Part of Nintendo's Mario franchise, he is a kind-hearted, cowardly Italian plumber, and the younger fraternal twin brother and sidekick of Mario. Like his brother, Luigi's distinctive characteristics include his large nose and moustache, overalls, green hat, and high-pitched, exaggerated Italian accent.

Nerf is a toy brand formed by Parker Brothers and currently owned by Hasbro. Most of the toys are a variety of foam-based weaponry, with other Nerf products including balls for sports such as American football, basketball, and baseball. Their best known toys are their dart guns (referred to by Hasbro as "blasters") that shoot ammunition made from "Nerf foam" (partially reticulated polyether type polyurethane foam). Their primary slogan, introduced in the 1990s, is "It's Nerf or Nothin'!". Annual revenues under the Nerf brand are approximately US$400 million.

A Lumalee serves as a "shop," where Mario (or Luigi) can purchase either a Life Mushroom or a 1-Up Mushroom for 30 Star Bits. Lumalees can be found in several galaxies and tend to appear before boss battles. Once Mario has made his choice of purchase, a Lumalee is fed the right number of Star Bits automatically and proceeds to transform into the mushroom of his choosing for him to collect. Because of this transformation, Mario can buy only one item from a Lumalee per appearance in that playthrough of the stage.

Raven is a member of the Teen Titans and one of the five main protagonists of Teen Titans Go!. Her magical, psionic and demonic-inherited powers from her father, Trigon, are a significant asset to the team, but when not in combat, she generally prefers to keep to herself.
