How the Grinch Stole Christmas x Hershey’s Kisses (Christmas 2002) was a festive licensed holiday promotion that paired Hershey’s iconic bite-sized chocolates with the mischievous charm of Dr. Seuss’s Grinch, capitalizing on the character’s enduring popularity following the 2000 live-action film. Released for the 2002 Christmas season, the product featured classic milk chocolate Hershey’s Kisses wrapped in themed foils showcasing the Grinch and other Whoville imagery, often in bright green and red holiday colors. These seasonal Kisses were marketed as stocking stuffers, candy bowl fillers, and baking decorations, blending Hershey’s long-standing holiday traditions with playful pop-culture storytelling. The collaboration remains a nostalgic example of early-2000s holiday branding, remembered by collectors and fans for its cheerful packaging and its role in bringing a beloved Christmas character into everyday seasonal treats.
