Amazing Grace and Percy Bear Book

Amazing Grace and Percy Bear

A Nursery Rhyme Book

Amazing Grace, so sweet and small,
With curious eyes that notice all.
Beside her bed, both night and day,
Sat Percy Bear in soft brown way.

Amazing Grace wakes with the sun,
Another brand-new day begun.
She skips and sings and hums her name,
Yet wonders why it sounds the same
As words she hears at church each week—
“Amazing Grace,” so soft, so meek.

That night she sighed, “What does it mean?”
And hugged her bear, warm and serene.
Then Percy Bear blinked shiny eyes,
To Grace’s shock and great surprise!
“Don’t be afraid,” said Percy fair,
“I’m here to help with loving care.”

They walked through dreams where children play,
Sharing toys in a gentle way.
Percy said, “Grace, can you see?
Grace means kindness, wild and free.”
A smile, a hug, a helping hand—
Small acts help grace grow grand.

They met a child who felt so sad,
She’d done a thing she wished she hadn’t had.
Percy whispered, soft and low,
“Grace forgives and helps us grow.”
Amazing Grace held her tight,
And made the wrong things feel more right.

They saw the stars, the moon so bright,
Fireflies dancing in the night.
“For all good things, both big and small,”
Said Percy Bear, “say thanks for all.”
Grace bowed her head, her heart felt warm,
Grateful thoughts began to form.

Lost and lonely, they met a lamb,
Shivering softly where it ran.
Percy said, “Grace always finds
Hearts that hurt and troubled minds.”
Grace held the lamb till fear was gone,
And felt love leading her along.

“Now do you know?” said Percy Bear,
“Why your name is very rare?”
Amazing Grace smiled, eyes so bright,
“I carry love and shining light.”
“Grace is hope,” said Percy true,
“It lives in me—and lives in you.”

Back in her bed by morning’s glow,
Percy Bear was still, you know.
But Grace just smiled and hugged him tight,
She’d learned true grace that very night.

Amazing Grace, both brave and kind,
Carries grace within her mind.
And Percy Bear, though quiet and still,
Lives on in grace she shows—until.
