The Flash × Korejanai Robo by Zarigani Works, released by McDonald’s Japan in 2014, was part of a unique Happy Meal collaboration featuring DC superheroes reimagined in the quirky, hand-crafted style of the Korejanai Robo toy line. Known for its intentionally “off-model” designs that humorously deviate from traditional heroic looks, this version of The Flash transformed the Scarlet Speedster into a blocky, brightly colored robot with a childlike, DIY aesthetic. The figure featured exaggerated mechanical limbs, lightning bolt motifs, and bold red and yellow hues, capturing both The Flash’s signature speed theme and the playful irony of Zarigani Works’ design philosophy. It stood as a fun blend of American comic iconography and Japanese toy artistry, appealing to both collectors and fans of pop-culture mashups.
On November 4, 2014, Percy's Fast Food Restaurant Toys Collection was declared the Largest by the Guinness World Records at 10,000 unique pieces from McDonald's, Jollibee, Burger King, KFC, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, Carl's Jr., Hardee's and other Fast Food Restaurants. This blog highlights and celebrates each individual toy's story included in the collection as all of them are now Officially Amazing!!! I will also feature my Comic Strip, Amazing Grace who I hope will be a Fast Food Toy too someday.
