Barry Allen returned to the role of the Flash in Flash Rebirth, and he blended the concept of Flash Facts with the Speed Force. DC revealed that Barry Allen created the Speed Force when he became the Flash. Barry's Flash Facts were his way of explaining the physics of all he could do with his speed. The Speed Force was behind the speed itself. Given the source of Flash's speed, the Speed Force was called the all-encompassing Flash Fact.
