Poison Ivy is a classic DC Comics character, known as both a villain and sometimes anti-heroine, famous for her connection to plants and eco-terrorism themes. Her real name is Dr. Pamela Lillian Isley. Her first appearance was in Batman #181 published in1966 with creators Robert Kanigher and Sheldon Moldoff. Pamela Isley was a botanist and biochemist who was exposed to toxins in an experiment gone wrong. She gained the ability to control plants and produce pheromones that can manipulate people. Over time, she became an eco-terrorist, fighting to protect the environment by any means necessary. her powers as Poison Ivy are plant manipulation: control, grow, and communicate with plants,secretes toxins and pheromones that can seduce, control, or kill and immunity to all poisons, toxins, and diseases. She is highly intelligent and passionate about nature. She is often portrayed as seductive, cunning, and sometimes sympathetic. she has complex relationships, especially with Batman and Harley Quinn.
