Kim Seok-jin, professionally known as Jin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and member of the globally acclaimed boy band BTS under BigHit Music. Born on December 4, 1992, in Gwacheon, South Korea, Jin is celebrated for his powerful vocals, striking visuals, and charming personality, often earning him the nickname “Worldwide Handsome.” He debuted with BTS in June 2013 and has since contributed to the group’s success through his emotional performances and solo songs like “Epiphany,” “Moon,” and “The Astronaut.” In addition to music, Jin has a degree in film studies from Konkuk University and is known for his caring nature, humor, and love for cooking. He became the first BTS member to complete his military service, being discharged in June 2024, marking a proud moment for both him and his fans worldwide.
