Percy R. Lugue, the creator of the Amazing Grace comic strip featured in the Manila Bulletin, was recently interviewed by first-year BA Communication students from Miriam College as part of their media and creative arts exploration project. During the interview, Lugue shared insights into his creative journey, the inspiration behind his uplifting and faith-centered comics, and the discipline required to produce a regular newspaper feature. He emphasized the power of storytelling through visual humor and positive messages, encouraging the students to pursue meaningful communication that uplifts and inspires readers.
