The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog was a live-action fantasy series produced by Saban Entertainment, known for creating the Power Rangers franchise. In April and May of 1999, McDonald's partnered with Saban to release a set of 8 Happy Meal toys based on the show. Each toy represented a character from the series, featuring action elements like spinning shields or detachable accessories. McDonald's 1999 Mystic Knights Toy Lineup included, Rohan – Fire Knight, Queen Maeve – Villainess, Angus – Earth Knight, General Torc – Villain, Deirdre – Air Knight, Mider – Dark Sorcerer, Ivar – Water Knight, and Lugad – Warrior. These toys were manufactured in China and distributed with McDonald's Happy Meals during the promotion period.
