The very first Television exposure of Percy's Toy Collection was on Mel and Joey. Mel and Joey is a Filipino television talk and lifestyle show that airs every Sunday evenings by GMA Network. The Toy Collection of Percy were featured albeit they haven't yet reach the stature of being a Guinness Record holder. The program's host, Mel and Joey, were shocked and amazed by the immensity of the the Toy Collection of Percy.

Did you know? 

Barbie played a shy butterfly fairy in 2008. The film aptly titled, Barbie Mariposa. This is a direct to video computer animated Barbie film which was released on February 26, 2008. This film is a part of the Barbie "Fairytopia" series, but is not a canon sequel to the previous films. This is the first film in the series which Kelly Sheridan did not voice the protagonist being played by Barbie. The film tells the story of Mariposa, a shy butterfly fairy, who went on a dangerous adventure to save their queen and their land of Flutterfield. "Mariposa" is the Spanish word for "butterfly", and it is also the street name of Mattel's creative design center. The film has a sequel titled Barbie: Mariposa & the Fairy Princess.

Did you know?

Percy's toy collection were featured in the Manila Bulletin newspaper long before they were even recognized in the Guinness World Records? Yes, on August 4, 2008, Percy and his collection were featured in the Collectors Item section of the Manila Bulletin which was founded in 1900 as a shipping journal, it is the second-oldest Philippine newspaper. In the latest Q2 2016 Nielsen Consumer and Media View results put Manila Bulletin, with 48% share of the total Broadsheet market, as the most read Broadsheet in the Philippines. Philippine Daily Inquirer comes in second at 38%, followed by Philippine Star at 14%. Manila Bulletin also had the most number of loyal readers with 42% of its readers not reading any other broadsheet title.

Did you know?

Percy's Fast Food Toy collection, a Guinness Record holder, was a Trivia Tuesday entry on GMA 7. GMA 7 traces its history to Metro Manila radio station DZBB, owned by Loreto F. de Hemedes, Inc., later renamed Republic Broadcasting System, Inc. of Robert "Uncle Bob" Stewart who happens to be Percy's favorite TV personality when he was younger. In fact, Percy treated uncle Bob as a doting Philippine Santa Claus who always features new toys in his TV show, The Uncle Bob Lucky Seven Club.

Did you know? 

Percy used to play Robin when he was younger. He used to have a green underwear and a yellow towel he used for a cape. For some unknown reason he loved playing Robin more than Batman.

Did you know?

Percy entered Hello Kitty as Catwoman in a contestYes, indeed. In the Dress Up Hello Kitty contest sponsored by Gift Gate, Percy was declared one of the major winners for his avant-garde transformation of the gentle Hello Kitty into the feisty super villain, Catwoman.

Batman



Did you know?

Percy was such a true blue fan of the 70's campy TV series so much so that during lunch breaks at 12:00 noontime he would go to his house to have his lunch there. Since their house is a stone throw away from the school, he would religiously do that everyday for a chance to eat hot and delicious home cooked meals and a chance to watch Batman and Robin which was incidentally shown from 12:00 to 12:30. Nice Schedule.

Percy's first crush was Barbara Gordon also known as Batgirl. During the 70's Batgirl was a novelty and her rare appearances in the Batman and Robin show made the audiences long for her all the more, including Percy.

Percy used to collect stickers when he was young. Prior to collecting toys, Percy had dabbled into collection all sorts of Stickers as well. He was particularly smitten by the ones which are scented with all sorts of Fruit scents.

Percy used to be really scared of the Joker. Cesar Romero as the Joker, a green haired, purple suited clown with a maniacal laugh who leaves behind jokes as clues to his next crime is atruly a scary picture for a seven year old Percy.

Batgirl wasn't always alter egoed by Barbara Gordon? The character Betty Kane was introduced into publication in 1961 by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff as Bat-Girl, she was replaced by Barbara Gordon in 1967, who later came to be identified as the iconic Batgirl. Depicted as the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon, she debuted in Detective Comics #359, titled "The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!" (1967) by writer Gardner Fox and artist Carmine Infantino. As Batgirl, the character operates primarily in Gotham City, allying herself with Batman and the original Robin, Dick Grayson, as well as other prominent heroes in the DC Universe.

Percy's first completed Jigsaw puzzle was a picture of Mickey Mouse and the gang in Disneyland. The picture left an indelible mark in his memory that he swore that he had been to Disneyland when in fact he hasn't traveled outside the Philippines and as we all know the Philippines has yet to build its own Disneyland. It was probably in dreamland that he experienced going to Disneyland...for real.
